Local Issues

It is important for any civic minded business
​to be involved in its community. A strong commitment to service is what has driven founder, Craig Pina, to have served on local boards in Brockton, MA such as the Water Commission, Conservation Commission, and currently Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals. We encourage everyone to take part in local affairs everywhere. It is the foundation of American society, and an excellent way to become part of the solution to many issues.

Wheelchair Strong Foundation

Troy and Andrew Chauppetta, are local twins who were diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy shortly after their birth in 1995. Since then, their father Mark Chauppetta has worked tirelessly to raise money for research and awareness of this awful disease. C. Pina Insurance is  proud to support their organization, Wheelchair Strong Foundation. Craig Pina serves as Chairman of the Board for WCSF.

American Black and Tan Coonhound Rescue

It doesn't take much to fall in love with this loyal and loving breed. Largely bred for hunting, "Coonies" are often discarded after their usefulness as a hunter is gone. Many are found wandering alone in the woods, others surrendered to "high-kill" shelters. C. Pina Insurance founder Craig Pina has been the proud adopter of 3 of these. His Redbone Coonhound/Labrador mix is the inspiration for our logo!
